Description: 

This cover is designed to be surface mounted on panels as a way to protect jacks from moisture and dust. LM specifies the SCCD-W in applications where jacks are not often used on a panel, and or are facing in a direction that will allow them to collect dust or water. This cover is also excellent for connectors on case exteriors. The cover is first installed on a panel, with the jack being installed inside the cover. The cover features 2 gaskets: one on the back where the cover touches the panel. The other is where the clear cover meets the black chassis.
