 Description: 

 This fully integrated, turn-key 55” confidence monitor system built by LM Cases is designed for users who need to link multiple confidence monitors together with the same video signal feeding 2 TV’s. The system is intended to be used in conjunction with the LM Cases 55” Turnkey Confidence Monitor System where this case is the first in the signal chain and the standard confidence monitor system is the next and final in the chain. This system is perfect for theatrical or corporate users who need to split a video signal easily without the need for additional switching equipment. 

The system is based around a heavy-duty caddy. This caddy is built from ¾” Baltic Birch and is removable from the exterior case. The caddy is finished with black texture coating and features black hardware allowing it to blend into the background. The 55” Sony 4K monitor is mounted to the caddy via a Chief LTA1U tilt mount attached to 1” steel box tubes. Signal is brought into the system by a LM Tour Systems i/o box. The box features a recessed “male” power inlet, locking HDMI jack, 12g SDI jack and a locking Cat6 jack. The opposing side of the caddy features the same box wired with a “female” power outlet. An SDI-HDMI format converter is included allowing the system to be fed via HDMI or SDI. Each source is simply accessed using the standard TV inputs using the remote control included with the monitor. All internal cabling is 8K HDMI and 12g SDI spec. The LM Cases Custom Integration department handles the install and testing of the system in house. All cables with the exception of the HDMI’s are built per order in house. Each cable including the HDMIs are labeled at each end for troubleshooting. 

The system included a cable interconnect package. This is intended to provide users with a variety of cables to connect this system to an input source in addition to linking another confidence monitor. The cable package built by LM Tour Systems includes a 25ft power cable to feed the case from an offstage source. A 6ft power cable is included to link a secondary case. Video cabling includes a 25ft 12g SDI cable to feed the system from an offstage source and a 6ft 12g SDI cable to link a secondary case. HDMI is handled by a 30ft and a 10ft locking cable built by Neutrik. These cables feature locking shells ensuring the HDMI connector is seated correctly and prevents accidental disconnection. The locking shells are removable and allow one or both ends to interface with standard AV and computer equipment. The included cable package is perfect for large campus users or system operators who need to send a single case to a breakout room without a secondary case for cabling. Each cable features a LM Tour Systems branded Velcro tie and un-shrunk heat shrink tubing for customer supplied ID tags. 2 locking Cat6 jacks are provided for NDI or additional data signals. These are female – female jacks and use standard network patch cables. LM Tour Systems builds many tour grade Network Cables that can be added to this system. 

The case interior is finished with 1” PE foam with 2” PE foam under the removable confidence monitor caddy. An accessory compartment is provided under the caddy for additional storage. The exterior case is built from 3/8” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic colors. The hardware set includes 4 deep recessed handles and stacking caster wells. The stacking caster wells can be used to stack multiple systems together for storage or used to elevate the case tray when used in front of a stage to increase the system height. The exterior case rides on 4” Colson casters mounted via a full sized ¾” plywood caster board. 2 of the casters are locking. All casters swivel 360 degrees.
