Description: 

This custom case built by LM Cases is designed to hold an Ampeg SVT 8c10 bass cabinet. The “live in” design allows the cabinet to remain protected inside the case during a performance. The user can simply remove the front lid to expose the cabinet. The live in design protects the top of the speaker cabinet from the wear of placing a rack or amp head on top of it. 

The case interior is lined with 1” PE foam. 2” PE foam is positioned under the speaker cabinetxfor additional shock protection. A ½” black marine grade plastic top board is laminated to the 2” PE foam under the cabinet. This top board allows the cabinet to be loaded/unloaded easily. It also prevents the cabinet’s wheels and feet from digging in and tearing the foam. A trap door is located on the back of the case to fully expose the input jack panel on the speaker cabinet.

The hardware set includes 4 deep recessed handles and stacking caster wells. The case rides on 4” Colson casters. These casters are mounted to the case shell via a ¾” plywood caster board. The front 2 casters are locking allowing the case to stay in position on stage.
