Description: 

The second unit in the series, the Dual Source Site Power Case w/Battery built by LM Cases expands on the original design by providing a 4500w battery in addition to a cable reel loaded with 150ft cable. To further expand on the original design, the power panel can be fed with 3 power sources simultaneously.

The fully integrated system is built by the LM Cases Custom Integration department and is delivered ready to use. The system is based around 2 power input sources: a cable reel that feeds the system from venue power and a battery source should venue power not be available. 

The cable reel is a custom built “live” design, allowing the reel to be energized and extended/retracted. The reel is loaded with 150 feet of HD 10awg 3 conductor SO cable. This large quantity of severe service cable allows the system to access power that may not be close to where the system is deployed. The second power source is a 4500w battery. This battery is unique as it can utilize additional battery modules to further expand its capacity. The battery can also add solar panels should users desire even more power. (The solar panels and additional batteries are optional equipment and are not included in the base system). The battery unit features a large display showing the draw of the connected components and the run time of the battery. An app is also available for remote monitoring should the user not be close to the system during its deployment. An alarm will notify users via an app when the battery is low. The cable reel and battery are mounted on heavy duty slide out shelves allowing full access to each. 

Control and power outlets are located on the rear mounted panel. The panel allows switching between the 2 power sources. The custom switch allows the reel and battery to be energized simultaneously. Users can switch between the 2 sources without the risk of back feeding. A 20amp hydraulic master breaker is provided over the panel to protect all outputs when the battery or reel is selected as the main power source. The power outlets are split into 3 group banks labeled A, B and C. The panel in total provides 30 standard AC outlets, 18 USB C charge ports, 6 USB A charge ports, 3 locking Neutrik Powercon outlets and 3 locking Neutrik True1 power outlets. Should users require more power than the reel or battery can provide, output banks B & C can be fed from independent power sources. The independent power sources are referred to as “Auxiliary Inputs”.  These sources are fed using locking Neutrik True1 inlets. Each inlet features a LED indicator light showing voltage present and a meter showing the voltage and amp draw of all connected items in the bank. Each auxiliary input is protected by a 20amp breaker. 

Beyond the standard duplex wall outlets, Neutrik True1 and Powercon locking outlets are provided. Many integrated systems built by LM Cases feature the LM Tour Systems line of DSK locking True1 power inlets. These systems can be connected to this unit via LM Tour Systems True1 – True1 link cables. Additional True1 outlets can be provided using the optional LM Tour Systems S T/1 True1 outlet stringer. 

The exterior case is built from ½” plywood laminated with your choice of ABS plastic colors. The case features removable front & rear lids with slam latches. The lids are stored in the top of the case during use allowing the lids to remain with the case. Each lid can be partially extended when in storage to provide shade to each side of the system. The case rides on 6” diameter field casters, all casters feature brakes to lock the system in place.
