Description:
The inline measurement power box built by LM Tour Systems is designed to show voltage and amperage draw. The box can be used in systems where the amperage draw of devices needs to be monitored. Use cases also include international applications where transformers are used. The box shows the input voltage confirming that the transformer/converter is providing the correct attenuated voltage. A 20-amp hydraulic breaker is provided and can be used as a system power switch.
Use Cases:
International Power Monitoring: A system designed for 120v power is being used in Europe with 220v. A step down transformer is used and placed before the main system power input. This box will verify that 120v power is being provided by the transformer.
Systems Limited By 15 Amp Power Sources: An amenities case using a coffee maker and a microwave is being used in an office. Higher amperage capacity or three phase power is not available. This box can be used to monitor the amperage draw of each device so that multiple devices aren’t used at the same time to overload the building’s wiring.
System Power Switch: The box can be located at eye level or another convenient location to act as mains switch for a system.
Don’t forget to add a LM Tour Systems True1 Power Cable!
