Description: 

This custom broadcast lens case is designed to transport and protect the Canon CJ15ex4.3B 4K broadcast zoom lens. Originally designed for NEP Supershooters, the case features a precision-cut foam interior housed in a rugged SKB 3i-1610-10 injection-molded protective case.

Designed for professional broadcast production, mobile television units, sports broadcasting, and equipment rental applications, the case provides a dedicated storage solution for protecting valuable broadcast optics during transportation and storage.

Custom Precision-Cut Foam Interior

The interior features multiple layers of custom-cut 2" thick polyethylene (PE) foam designed to contour the shape of the Canon CJ15ex4.3B lens.

Rather than relying on generic foam cavities, each layer is individually machined to accommodate the lens profile, creating a dedicated compartment that helps restrict movement and provides cushioning during transportation.

The bottom of the compartment incorporates an additional layer of solid PE foam to provide cushioning beneath the lens.

Custom Ester Foam Lid Support

The lid features a two-layer gray Ester foam assembly designed to provide additional cushioning and support when the case is closed.

The upper foam assembly incorporates a custom opening with a fitted foam insert, accommodating the lens profile while providing controlled contact and cushioning.

The combination of firm polyethylene foam in the base and softer Ester foam in the lid provides a protective interior designed specifically for this broadcast lens.

SKB 3i Protective Case

The custom foam interior is installed in an SKB 3i-1610-10 injection-molded protective case.

The SKB 3i Series is designed for professional equipment transportation, featuring a rugged molded shell, secure latching system, and integrated carrying handle.

The case provides a compact, self-contained transportation solution suitable for broadcast technicians, camera operators, rental houses, and mobile production environments.
