Description: 

The LM Cases ChamSys MagicQ MQ30 Lighting Console Case is a purpose-built ATA-style road case designed to protect the console while keeping it ready for use. Rather than requiring the console to be removed from the case for operation, the MQ30 remains secured in the lower tray and the larger pull-over lid is simply removed at setup. 

A custom CNC-cut foam insert supports the console and is shaped around its unique footprint and feet. Additional foam blocks cradle both sides of the console to help keep it securely positioned during transport. The tray also incorporates a dedicated storage compartment beneath the console, providing a convenient location for an iPad, cables, adapters, documentation, or other accessories. 

To the right of the console is a separate side-mounted accessory compartment that keeps frequently used items organized and accessible. A built-in cup holder is integrated into this section, creating a practical working area beside the console during programming, rehearsals, and live events. The tray layout shown on page 1 places the accessory compartment and cup holder directly alongside the console position.

The case is built from 3/8" plywood laminated with durable ABS plastic and uses recessed road-case hardware for a clean exterior profile. Three slim-line recessed handles provide multiple carrying positions, including a centered front handle positioned specifically to help balance the load when carrying the case. 

The removable lid is internally padded to protect the console during transport, while the lower tray uses a combination of polyethylene foam, carpet lining, plywood, and a rigid plastic cup-holder panel to create a durable interior suited for repeated touring and production use. The interior construction is detailed on page 2 of the drawing.
