Description: 

The LM Cases Yamaha RIVAGE PM7 / PM10 Console Case is a heavy-duty touring case designed to protect the control surface while also providing an integrated work surface, monitor mounting system, keyboard and mouse shelf, and rear doghouse for cable management and connectivity.

The console remains in the lower case tray during operation, allowing the system to be deployed without removing the control surface from the case. A custom internal structure constructed from Baltic birch supports the console, while multiple densities and thicknesses of CNC-cut PE foam are positioned around the control surface to support and protect it during transport. The foam system is shaped specifically around the console rather than relying on generic foam blocking, helping distribute the load and prevent movement inside the case. 

The tray incorporates a pull-out keyboard and mouse shelf across the front of the console. A steel support structure is installed beneath the mixer, providing additional reinforcement for the large control surface and helping transfer its weight into the case structure.

A full-width doghouse is integrated behind the console to provide protected space for power, network, audio, and other system connections. The doghouse is constructed primarily from  3/4" Baltic birch plywood and incorporates removable rear access panels, allowing technicians to reach the console connections while keeping cabling contained and protected during operation. The internal construction also incorporates Starboard components and reinforced mounting locations for the monitor system. 

The case is designed around an integrated articulating monitor system. Monitor mounting locations are provided at both ends of the console, allowing the display position to be configured for the operator's preferred workflow. The monitor can be positioned alongside the fader section or articulated above the console for improved visibility. The mounting system is designed so that the upper portion of the monitor arm can remain attached to the monitor during transport, while the remaining arm components store in a dedicated CNC-cut compartment within the console tray. 

The removable top section incorporates a substantial CNC-cut foam assembly designed around the console and monitor system. Dedicated monitor cavities allow the displays to travel inside the case, while additional shaped foam supports the control surface and surrounding components. The lid structure uses a combination of PE and XLPE foams along with carpeted contact surfaces to protect equipment finishes and securely capture the system when the case is closed. 

The front lid also incorporates CNC-cut foam with dedicated cavities for the monitor and monitor-arm components, keeping system accessories organized and protected rather than requiring separate monitor cases. 

The exterior is constructed using LM Cases' professional touring-case construction with ½" plywood, laminated exterior panels, aluminum extrusion, recessed hardware, and heavy-duty casters. The case uses a three-piece configuration, allowing the top and front nose section to be removed while the Yamaha console remains securely supported in the lower tray. The current design measures approximately 67" wide by 54.7" deep, providing a fully integrated transportation and operating solution for the RIVAGE control surface, monitors, keyboard, mouse, and associated cabling.
