Description: 

The LM Cases Yamaha DM5 Tour Grade Console Road Case is a premium touring workstation designed for professional front-of-house, monitor, and live production applications. This full-featured, three-piece Q-style case combines custom console protection with integrated equipment storage, a full-width doghouse, and an extensive complement of touring hardware.

 This is the first LM Cases console design to feature our new Triad Orbit Ready mounting system. Eight dedicated mounting locations are integrated throughout the workstation, allowing users to build customized accessory configurations using the Triad Orbit iO quick-change system. Each mounting location features a custom recessed pocket designed to contour the Triad Orbit IO-WSP steel mounting plate, along with 3/8”-16 threaded inserts and black stainless steel mounting bolts.

Once equipped with the IO-WSP, the workstation can accommodate compatible Triad Orbit microphone booms, tablet holders, wireless antenna mounts, utility shelves, and other production accessories. The modular system allows users to configure their workstation for specific applications and easily modify their setup as production requirements change.

The console is secured within a custom fitted compartment using CNC-routed mounting locations that capture its feet. Custom contoured, nonabrasive crosslink foam in the removable lids provides additional protection for the console's control surface, edges, and wrist rest during transportation.

The full-width doghouse is constructed from 3/4” Baltic Birch plywood with a black textured coating. It features a hinged top lid, rear access panel, and open storage space beneath the console. Additional workstation features include a reversible Ergotron LX Pro articulating monitor arm, two retractable headphone holders, and a slide-out keyboard drawer with a finished cherry wood wrist rest.

The removable top lid incorporates a custom foam-lined compartment for a Dell 24” touchscreen monitor, along with a separate carpet-lined accessory storage compartment. Both compartments feature removable access panels secured by quarter-turn latches.

The exterior case is constructed from 1/2” Baltic Birch plywood laminated with black ABS and features heavy-duty Penn Elcom hardware, 20 deep recessed handles, and four 4” Colson casters mounted to a 3/4” Baltic Birch caster board.

Designed for the demands of professional touring, the Yamaha DM5 Tour Grade Case provides a durable, highly configurable workstation that combines LM Cases' traditional road case construction with the flexibility of the Triad Orbit mounting ecosystem.
